
Andrew Desiderio, Theory, Ear Training, and Composition.
Bryn Mawr Conservatory of Music Composition FacultyMr. Desiderio is a graduate of Temple University, where he earned the degree of Bachelor of Music in Music Theory, as a student of Jan Krzywicki and Jeremy Gill, and the degree of Master of Music in Music History. He was subsequently appointed as an Adjunct Instructor at Temple University and has taught courses in music history there. Mr. Desiderio was the Assistant Conductor of the Delaware County Symphony and has also conducted the Orchestra Society of Philadelphia, the Roxborough Orchestra, and numerous musicals. As a composer, Mr. Desiderio has written film scores, orchestral and instrumental works, songs, and music for the theater. He has studied composition with Justin Dello Joio, Jeremy Gill, and Benjamin C. S. Boyle. He is a founding member of Philadelphia Composers’ Ink.
