Michael Poll is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where he received the degree of Bachelor of Arts in Music. His principal guitar teachers were Emiliano Pardo-Tristán, Benjamin Verdery, Frederic Hand, and Lukasz Kuropaczewski, and he has performed in masterclasses of Manuel Barrueco, Odair Assad, and Nicholas McGegan. He has performed as soloist and chamber musician both in the United States and in Europe.
