Alexander Panku
Pianist Alexander Panku, who taught at the Conservatory in the 1980s, rejoined the faculty this summer. A graduate of the Bucharest State Conservatory and of Temple University, Dr. Panku has, in the interim, been a member of the piano faculty at Temple University and the Settlement Music School. He has also been performing widely as a soloist and chamber musician both in the Philadelphia area and elsewhere. -
Emiliano Pardo Tristán
Emiliano Pardo Tristán returns to the guitar faculty in September, having completed a two-year post-doctoral fellowship at New York University. Dr. Pardo, a former student of Manuel Barrueco, Leo Brouwer, and Pepe Romero, was a visiting lecturer at Oxford University in the spring of 2010 and will join the faculty of New York University this fall.
