Patricia F. Daniels
Bryn Mawr Conservatory of Music Cello Faculty
Ms. Daniels studied with Orlando Cole at the New School of Music, from which she holds the degree of Bachelor of Music; at Temple University, where she was awarded the degree of Master of Music in cello performance; and at the Curtis Institute of Music.
She is a member of several orchestras in southeastern Pennsylvania, including the Philly Pops, the Reading Symphony Orchestra, and the Brandywine Valley Symphony. She has also recorded for Sigma Sound Studios and has performed with the orchestras of Opera Philadelphia and Philadelphia Ballet, with the Ocean City Pops, often as principal cello, and for productions at the Walnut Street Theatre, the Forrest Theatre, the Schubert (now Miller) Theatre, and the Suzanne Roberts Theatre.
Ms. Daniels has been teaching cello for over twenty-five years. She is a member of the faculty at Settlement Music School, where she teaches both cello and chamber music.
